Always feel like I'm getting a cold before and during my period?

Almost every month before I get my period (the week to the day of my period) I feel like I'm getting or have a cold or even a flu. My body is achy, I get the chills and hot flashes, I get sinus congestion/drip, I get migraines usually on one side of my face over the eye, teary dry eyes that are usually bloodshot, and a raspy/dry throat. I of course get all the other horrible pms/menstrual side effects but these few make it feel like I have a cold. I have seen some posts about this on medical sites but no one knows why this happens=getting a cold during a period like clockwork. Anyone else suffer from the same thing?

So earlier today I asked a question kind of like this one. But nobody helped me, they just told me my question was stupid and stuff. Basically, my family is looking into buying a dog. We had a dog for 12 years, but she ped away in october. We are pretty sure we want a medium sized dog. A little bigger then a beagle. My dad and brother want a big dog like a mastiff, but my mother, sister, and I want a small dog like a yorkie, or puggle. For those who don't know, i puggle is a mix of a pug and a beagle. It is a actual dog, look it up. We have been to our local SPCA, petco, petsmart, ect. We looked a a dog that is a sharpie/black lab mix. BUt after we looked into it more,we decided it wasn't right for us. We also don't want a dog that sheds more then a shepherd. Our old dog was a german shepherd/rottweiler mix. We are thinking we don't want to spend much more then $600. I'm not really sure if that is a lot, or what for a dog. We are going to another store in the next few days. I really want help. We have a big back yard, and we are all active, but we don't want a dog that barks A LOT. PLEASE HELP!!

I'm sick and it won't go away!?

I'm sick, like everyone else in the world, typical cold/flu symptoms. Sinus infection, drainage, sore throat, runny nose. All my symptoms are related to my head/nose area. The thing is it's been going on for 2 months and I've endured two fevers and these symptoms have been on and off. I've taken 2 different antibiotics; amoxicillin and z pak. After taking them my symptoms would go away and then come back. I have this feeling like somethings wrong, I need suggestions as to how to conquer this lingering sickness.

So I had a nightmare last night.I am 16 and that was my second nightmare in my entire life.I have also been getting into LaVeyan Satanism and reading about Magick these last couple of days.I also cannot remember that last time I was truly scared,I have sped in the highway and almost crashed several times,I have been in a cemetery at night, and have felt no fear. I am not saying this to sound y but I am nearly impossible to scare.So to me its a really big deal that I had a nightmare where I was in my restroom and dark "shadows" started reaching towards me( I know that sounds cliche but I really did dream it) and I felt a VERY deep fear.I am guessing thats what true terror was,I mean i was scared to the point where I wanted to cry.and i felt all this while dreaming.back to my dream,so the shadows are chasing me and I go across the hall to my room and get on my knees and pray and ask forgiveness from god and just like I felt fear,I felt how sincere my apology was and it was as sincere as possible.Then god forgave me and I felt peaceful like never before.Do you guys think this is a signal?a coincidence? or do i feel guilty about going against what my parents raised me for? To be honest I still dont feel like I could sincerely ask for forgiveness from "god" so that confuses me because I would expect an experience like that would change a person.What do you think?

I Think My Brother-In-Law is Crazy....Do You Agree with Me??

My brother-in-law John has two children from his previous marriage. He has also 2 boys with my younger sister. John has never told my teen nephews about their half siblings. Recently and mistakenly, I mentioned the truth to my nephews about their other half siblings. John found out that I said the truth and he was so upset as hell. He screamed and shouted at me and quit talking to me. He said he was not ready to tell my nephews the truth yet. He was afraid that this finding will create some kind of resentment between all siblings. Is he correct with his feelings or is he just plain crazy? My tenants have reports a sketchy scenario where damage occurred. Am I responsible for repair?

My tenants have reported that a pipe under the sink had come loose and that water spilled onto the floor causing the floor tiles to come up. One even went under the cabinetry and is now out of reach. The loose pipe has been an issue of contention since it is a simple screw tightening setup that I've never had trouble with before. I've repeatedly driven to the house only to find that a simple tightening is all that is required. I'm under the belief the tenants are hitting it with something (stored under the sink) and causing it to come loose. During a visit two months ago I noticed loose tiles and recorded it in a repair journal, but umed that since it wasn't reported that they must have caused the problem (college parties and what not). I had tenantively planned to repair the problem after they move out with the security deposit. The lease states reasonable care must be taken and that all repair requests must be made promptly to the landlord. This is at least two weeks late (by their own admission) and two months late by my own records. Without definitive proof of wrong doing am I responsible to repair something they probably did?

I have two lizards but?

I don't know if they are the same breed of lizard. When i first bought my first lizard, i bought it as an Iguana, but it didn't grow to look like one. It looks like a water Dragon. Then i added another Iguana and this one really looks like an Iguana. The first ones head is more rounded and the body is more petite and bright greenish blue turquoise colored. The second one has a longer but narrower head and is dull in color like most Iggy's i've seen. But they get along very well for 4 months now and they eat together in peace. My laptop screen turns a solid pastel yellow, why?

Challenging terrain to (hike,climb,canoe,etc.)...?

Last month I hiked the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island BC. It was my first long backpacking trip (7 days) and it floored me in every possible way. Absolutely fabulous and treacherous too boot! The first 22 km are brutal. You're going up and down a mountain using root systems and ladders (too many ladders) as climbing aides. Trudging through countless pits of deep mud (poles are essential), and climbing up and over giant fallen trees. The boardwalks appear to be a dream to walk on, however they are slippery as hell. You have to cross ravines using pull carts and there is a sketchy suspension bridge you have to cross. It took us 4 days to hike that first 22 km. 2 and a half to hike the last 53 km. Oh, did I mention the 40 lb. packs we were each carrying. Now to the good part...all the campsites are on the beach and they are so beautiful and rare. The scenery was breathtaking. Part of the trail goes through a bonsai forest full of old growth trees. That was really amazing to see. If the tides are in your favour and you don't sleep in, you can enjoy some good beach walking at which point you get to see the sea lions and countless other sea creatures. Oh threres so much to tell. I'm very inspired by that trek and looking forward to doing it again next year.

I have always used fake, plastic decorations in my aquarium. Recently, however, I have been feeling the urge to try some real plants. I want to start with something simple, like a moss wall or moss tied to some driftwood. I have been doing some research, and holy crap! There are dozens of species of aquatic moss! Java Moss, Flame Moss, Christmas Moss, Pea Moss, Taiwan Moss, etc. The only moss that I could really get detailed info was for the Java. I'm guessing that is by far the most common. Question about failure to thrive in elderly?

My Grandmother has had a lot of loss in her life. She lost her husband in 2003, and both of her children in 2005. Almost a year ago she decided that she did not need any of her medication any longer (she was on numerous medications for blood pressure, cholesterol, iron for anemia). At this time her doctor suggested we enter into hospice which we did. Not long after this she lost the ability to walk and stand on her own. After a series of falls we entered her into a nursing home because due to my work schedule and being pregnant I was not able to take care of her at home. Since being in the nursing home she seems like she is wasting away to nothing. When she first got there her blood pressure would spike to a really high number but has since stabilized. They also think that she may have had a stroke that left her with vascular dementia but they are not sure because they are not doing any testing. When I am not there she talks out of her head and does not make coherent sentences. When I do go or if they bring her pictures of her family she can make coherent sentences and she can make sense when she talks, although most of the time she will say things that don't make sense. Right now the only medication she is on is an antidepressnet, ativan 2 times a day and pepcid for indigestion. There is a standing order for haldof but they did not have to give it to her at all last month and only once this month so far. In talking with the hospice nurse she is thinking she is going to consider her "failure to thrive". At this point she stays in a chair all day and is on a chopped food diet because of difficulty swallowing (they had to give her the heimlich 2 weeks ago). They say some days she talks a lot and some she doesn't, and over the last couple of months she has definitely lost weight. We are thinking of bringing her home to care for her (with the help of a hired cna) what will her prognosis be. We are worried she may become aggressive or mean and I am not sure if I can watch her just waste away. Right now the only time she is aggressive is when they are moving her from bed to her chair or during bathing. Also how long can someone live in her condition it seems to me like she is suffering, I know she does not want to live any longer and has for years said she just wanted to commit suicide she never understood why God took her family and not her. The only other medical concern she has is over the last couple of years she has tested positive for blood when they have done rectal exams. They never investigated that further either because they said the testing would be worse for her. Thank you for the help!

My son is six and a half months old and I am just wanting to check and see if you guys thought he was too young for a bath seat. He slips and slides in his infant tub now. He is sitting up pretty good on his own he does wobble a bit still. And if you have used a bath seat, what kind and how did you like it?

I had my 20 week ultrasound yesterday and the tech said that in some cases it is hard to hide (like when the parents don't want to know) so I guess that means in some cases it's not as easy to tell. But we saw clear as anything that it was a boy; there really was absolutely no doubt because he was not shy at all and they had an angle where it was just obvious as anything. =) Overall I guess it depends on what kind of pictures they get, but if they told you it's a boy then it's most likely a boy. I remember going with my sister to hers and they said they were pretty sure it was a girl but not 100%, and it was indeed a girl. I don't remember what week she was at for that one though. The ultrasound techs aren't likely to mistake it if they see a though. They know exactly what's in there, what's an umbilical cord, what's a kidney and what's a stomach, etc... they usually are really good with identifying everything in there!

Really worried bout my gf 3 weeks after birth HELP?

After a text book pregnancy Lucy gave birth to our son. The birth was difficult after 18 hours she finally had to have an emergency c-section Lucy was petrified of having a epidural and was very distressed but it was the only option. After she couldn't breadtfeed, the baby wouldn't latch on and when he did he wouldn't stay on the nurses response was that Lucy wasn't trying hard enough and gave her a lecture about how is best and that the baby wading missing out. Lucy was heart broken but tried to hide it. Lucy seemed to be detached from the baby she only held him when someone gave him to her. She never talks to him, she spoke to her bump all the time during pregnancy. She wasn't eating much. She would sleep a lot and when I would leave she would become really upset she has never been clingy. When she was discharged things just got worse she just seemed to carry on like the baby wasn't there, she only holds or feeds him when prompted. She is very tearful she wants to be with with me all the time she wants to be held which I don't mind, but this isn't like her. I have b to go back to work (I work full time in an office and as a bounced on a Fri and sat night) there is always someone with her to help with the baby as she is.still recovering. She seems completely detached from everyone but me, yet she barely speaks to me she was a complete chatter box before. I am really worried I have spoken to her and she just says she doesn't know what's wrong. The midwife says its baby blues. I have a child from a previous relationship ( this is Lucy's first) and I don't think this is baby blues. I love Lucy but I am at my wits end I am exhausted from work and looking after the baby and Lucy. I just don't understand where my old Lucy is and i am scared for her can anyone help?

I've got two different spreadsheets with similar data. unfortunately this is confidential information and company work so I cannot share the sheets. But essentially I have two different excel sheets, each with information on different hospital networks (name, location, number of hospitals in the network, etc.) but they are from different sources and thus each sheet has some blanks that the other has filled, and some have conflicting pieces of data. I've tried the normal consolidate rules, have all of the columns listed the same, but in the end one just completely overwrites the other. Air Force taking forever?

Mainly for the Air Force folks out there. I just recently applied for the Air Force and went thru with MEPS and everything. Unfortunately, the physcian said that apparently I had a "enlarged liver." Anyways they told me to get a consultation and I did. Got a ultra sound and blood work. And everything came back negative. Literally everything is pretty much normal, no issues, everything cool. I brought back my paperwork and everything to the recruiter who told me that he faxed my things over to MEPS. Now he told me that if the paperwork stays at MEPS, it would take about a week to hear anything back. Then he said if it goes to the Surgeon General, then it could take a month and a half. Now I'm through and I'm ready to go. I'm not an impatient person, but its already been 2 weeks and I'm trying to figure out what else they would need. If the official paper work says everything is perfectly fine. So I was hoping for some insight from former and current Airmen or military personnel. Should I stay on top of my recruiter? Call MEPS and find out the status?

Are simple cysts the same thing as follicles?

I just had an ultrasound done on day 13 of my cycle (this was done under the diagnosis of dysmenohrrea but we were really trying to see if I was going to ovulate or had any structural problems). I told the tech that we were curious if there were any eggs follicles. The report says I have 2 'simple cysts'. They are the right size for ovulation in a day or so (and I got a positive OPK yesterday). Is that how they put down follicles on a report? Can they tell the difference between follicles and cysts or are they kind of the same at that point?

If you belong to a church, you can request to do a rummage sale. Have members of the church donate items for the sale and ask the pastor to remind members when it will be and to bring family and friends. Ask some friends to help you set everything up and all the items you sell the money will go to your trip. You can do a bake sale at your church or school. You can talk to your school principal and/or superintendent and see if you can do some sort of fundraiser through the school. You can also figure out how to set up a website and request family and friends to forward the link to everyone they know so people can send in donations. Gosh ..... I hope this helps. no idea if u can id ume so in america they cost under 30 dollars. they are really cheep tho the average enclosure for a full grown one would be nothing u could by at most pet stores. ud likely have to build ur own or spend a thousand or so dollars to get one made lol. they can get upwards of 5 to 6 feet give or take. they are mostly vegitarians so a majority will be fruits and vegies. also, u can someimtes give them cricktes and other feeders. they can make great pets. if u handle tehm enough and make them social and not afraid of humans. ths biggest thing about them is that they do get very big and my brothers is like 15 years old and close to 5 feet long he is in a homemade cage that its about 4 feet tall and 6 feet long and 3 deep. that is a big cage. so id deffinatley think about something smaller unless u are ready to comit another good choice would be a mali uromasyx or maybe a leopard gecko. hell if u want somethng big, get a egyption mali they get prety big but no wear near iguiana.

Swollen gums and eating turkey?

My gums are pretty swollen especially around my bottom and top canine on one side. Could this be because i had a turkey sandwich? It sounds strange put they just flared up all of a sudden after eating it. The gums around my bottom canine are red where the cheeck meets the base of the gums, the triangular piece of gum in between the tooth is swollen and even on the tounge side there is a large but not red area of swelling. Is thius a clic case of infected or swollen gums, or is it something more serious.

i care, not because i am vain or think i am great. it is because i am extremely and painfully insecure. when i have not cared what others thought, i have been hurt. i shouldnt care what peole think but i do and, as a result, i come off as shallow (and maybe i am), which makes me even more unlikeable and ugly to other people and myself and makes me feel bad and the cycle starts all over. someone at my work referred to me as an annoying, vapid, ugly mess (not in so many words). i think people at my work feel bad for me because i AM ugly and insecure. i am admittedly obsessed with image, mostly because of my bad feelings about myself. i never judge anyone by the way they look, esp. not guys. i am as nice to people as i can be. maybe i come off as fake? i get so scared, i just dont know how to act now.

Guitar Stringing Problem?

My 1st string E sounds fine, but my 2nd string B sounds almost muted when played open, on the 1st fret, second fret, and a little on the 3rd fret. when played on the 5th fret, it is in tune with my E. all the other frets sound fine. this guitar is a Fender Mexican Series Strat. I have changed the strings many times before, and i've never had this problem. and yes, the guitar has been set up, and im using the correct gauge of string. any ideas as to whats wrong? any ideas on how to fix?

Would any reasonable person on the planet continue to support nuclear power? 9/11 could have been so much worse. They flew right over a nuclear plant as they were navigating the Hudson River toward NYC. They could have easily turned around and decided to make the entire tri-state area uninhabitable. Even if they didn't expose the core and initiate a full meltdown, they could have easily destroyed the building that houses the spent fuel and immediately made all real estate in NY worthless. Is it worth the risk?

In the short run it is a bad trade because Evans is a solid backup for Kobe and Cook's range is definitely needed on the Lakers. But in the long run, it is a good trade because Ariza is a solid defender who is young and talented. Cook has not had a breakout season and i doubt he ever will. Maurice Evans is almost 30 and i doubt he would provide any more in the than he is right now. So i would say its a loss for the Lakers right now, but just wait and see what Ariza has in store.

Can someone give away their ets before death to avoid having it taken to pay off their debts?

Say there is a situation in which someone is very likely to die at some point soon and knows it. Say they have a fair amount of ets and also a fair amount of debts (which do not have collateral attached to them). I know that if they die as is then their ets would be used to pay off their debts and what remains would go to their heirs. I'm wondering, could the person give away their ets to their heirs before death such that when the person dies, the lenders would end up getting almost nothing? That way I figure the heirs could get more while the lenders lose out. I'm wondering if this is possible or if there's something that would prevent one from being able to do this.
