An Epic Battle: Superman (Kal-El of the modern age) of the DC Universe vs Goku of the Dragon Ball Universe?

Okay, so I was discussing this epic battle with my co-worker. Superman vs. Goku (All levels of power). He stated that Superman would win due to his sharp and battle strategic mind. I favored Goku due to his ability to power up to different levels. What say you? Please give your reasons why (hopefully with detailed reasoning why).
