What is your favorite aquatic moss?

I have always used fake, plastic decorations in my aquarium. Recently, however, I have been feeling the urge to try some real plants. I want to start with something simple, like a moss wall or moss tied to some driftwood. I have been doing some research, and holy crap! There are dozens of species of aquatic moss! Java Moss, Flame Moss, Christmas Moss, Pea Moss, Taiwan Moss, etc. The only moss that I could really get detailed info was for the Java. I'm guessing that is by far the most common. I have two questions. 1. Does anyone know of a good website where I could get detailed information on all or most mosses out there? Even Wikipedia doesn't have articles on just the few I mentioned. and 2. What kind of mosses do you have? What were your experiences? What worked/didn't work? What was the best looking/ugliest? What kind was pretty hardy? Where there any that took very little to keel over and die? Considering this is my first time using live plants, I think I should go with something that won't die on me very easily. Thanks for your help.
