Lakers Trade!?

In the short run it is a bad trade because Evans is a solid backup for Kobe and Cook's range is definitely needed on the Lakers. But in the long run, it is a good trade because Ariza is a solid defender who is young and talented. Cook has not had a breakout season and i doubt he ever will. Maurice Evans is almost 30 and i doubt he would provide any more in the than he is right now. So i would say its a loss for the Lakers right now, but just wait and see what Ariza has in store.
