Always feel like I'm getting a cold before and during my period?

Almost every month before I get my period (the week to the day of my period) I feel like I'm getting or have a cold or even a flu. My body is achy, I get the chills and hot flashes, I get sinus congestion/drip, I get migraines usually on one side of my face over the eye, teary dry eyes that are usually bloodshot, and a raspy/dry throat. I of course get all the other horrible pms/menstrual side effects but these few make it feel like I have a cold. I have seen some posts about this on medical sites but no one knows why this happens=getting a cold during a period like clockwork. Anyone else suffer from the same thing?
