It could be a blown fuse. If so, it's a cheap fix. You might even have a spare fuse in your fusebox. Locate your fusebox and see if there's a spare in it. If there is and your fusebox is easily labeled, then pull the bad fuse and plug in the new one. If you're still not sure which fuse goes where, then your manual should have a page with a diagram on it. If you don't have a spare fuse go to Autozone or a comparable store, and describe your symptoms. They can match you with the one you need.
