Infant bath seat?

My son is six and a half months old and I am just wanting to check and see if you guys thought he was too young for a bath seat. He slips and slides in his infant tub now. He is sitting up pretty good on his own he does wobble a bit still. And if you have used a bath seat, what kind and how did you like it?
