Why isnt it shown on the news more when the Military kills innocent people even if accidentally?

Defacing American soldiers like that is unheard of. No one has the '' per say, to actually do it. If they were to do this, their ratings would drop like hell! And ratings are all that matter, so they continue to do "touching" stories about a little dog that saved this white girl :/.
