Are there more Archie Bunkers in America today than there were 40 years ago?

Just wondering. I live in a red state, and I see his heirs apparent every day here: monster trucks, poor dentition, never working, but railing against lazy libs; stockpiling weapons...actually, wait, Archie Bunker was a civilized gentleman compared to these types, what am I saying?
